The Monday Study Club met at the United Methodist Church on October 13 at 2 p.m.
The hostess was Val Galloway. The meeting was brought to order by President Donna DeTienne, who also led the pledges to the American and Christian flags.
Deedie Reading gave the devotional, “Clean Heart” on Psalms 51:10 and followed that with prayer.
The minutes were read by Val Galloway and were accepted.
Roll call was answered by nine members using the word “faith” in scripture.
The Duty, “Crucified with Christ,” based on Acts 15:36-16:10, was given by hostess Val Galloway. Galloway also led in the lesson question and answer session. The Special Study was given by Jan Armstrong. She talked about how the Lord’s wisdom helps us in times of physical affliction and in our relationships with those who love us, (His grace is sufficient), when we ask for his guidance. The meeting closed with repeating the Club Collect.
