The ladies of the Monday Study Club.

The Monday Study Club gathered April 25 at the United Methodist Church for their Spring Luncheon.
The event opened with repeating the pledges to the American and Christian flags.
Martha Hopke gave the devotional from “A Collection of Blessings” by Helen Steiner Rice, “Look on the Sunny Side.”
The members introduced their guests and the luncheon was served.
The program was an Art Show given by Bowling Green Artist Judy Flowers. Judy is active in her classes, showing her work in watercolor and etchings of a cat and eagle on clay board. Jackie Marshall, local artist, brought floral ink sketches, acrylic, and a watercolor collection of Starks Fruit.
Patricia Stathem brought art work from the Women’s Correctional Center.
Their talent is unlimited in watercolor and colored pencil animal paintings.
A small card was given to each member and guest to make a sample of their own floral sketch.
It was a fun program and good to visit with our guest.
The program ended with repeating the Club Collect.
Those attending members were Val Galloway, Jackie Marshall, Donna DeTienne, Donna Tillman, Martha Hopke, Beverly Largent, Jan Armstrong, and Edna Mae Wallace.
Guests were Judy Flowers, Pat Caldwell, Dottie Cahill, Dorothy Culwell, Kay Reading, Patricia Stathem, Pastor Helen McFarland, and Lydia Hayden and son.
