Highlights from the week
A church service was provided for the residents in the chapel on Sunday morning.
On Monday afternoon the Perry VFW Post & Auxiliary No. 4088 sponsored a Bingo game for the residents.
A Lutheran service was held on Tuesday morning on the Special Care Unit and then after lunch a Bible study was held in the chapel.  Lost Laddonia Boys entertained with music in the afternoon.
Residents with June birthdays enjoyed a lunch uptown on Wednesday and then the VFW Post & Auxiliary No. 2173 from Vandalia sponsored a birthday Bingo game and everyone enjoyed a cake for refreshments during the game.
Bingo and pool were the highlights on Thursday morning followed by Catholic communion.  Happy Hour with music and snacks, and Book Express were the entertainment in the afternoon.
A game of High/Low was played by the card players on Friday morning and in the afternoon the residents gathered for a game of Mexico Train Dominoes.
Residents loaded the bus on Saturday morning and enjoyed the Fly In with breakfast at the Riley Roost.
VFW Post No. 3772 will meet on Tuesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. in the dining room at the facility.  All VFW members are welcome to attend.
Alzheimer Support Group will meet on Wednesday, July 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the facility.
The public is welcome to attend.
Currently, volunteers are needed to help at the reception desk on Saturday mornings from 7:30 a.m. until noon.
