Highlights from the week:
A church service was held in the chapel on Sunday morning. Monday afternoon residents gathered in the activity room to discuss happening around the world. A New Year’s Eve bingo game was held on Tuesday morning and sparkling grape juice was served. Later in the day, a Bible study was held in the chapel. Ice cream sundaes were served on New Year’s Day while residents enjoyed music with Benny Kempker. Bingo and pool were the entertainment on Thursday morning and then in the afternoon residents loaded the bus and headed to Wal-Mart for a shopping trip. The book express went room-to-room to exchange books and movies to the residents during the afternoon, also. A card game was held on Friday morning and in the afternoon a Catholic Mass was held. On Saturday afternoon, Fulton VFW Post and Auxiliary No. 2657 sponsored a bingo game for everyone.
VFW Post No. 3772 will meet on Tuesday, January 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the dining room at the facility. All VFW members, welcome to attend.
Alzheimer Support Group will meet on Wednesday, January 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the facility. The public is welcome to attend.
Mark Your Calendar – An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. at the facility. Everyone is encouraged to come and give the gift of life!!
