Middletown’s set to celebrate 125th Reunion

Middletown is getting ready to celebrate a theme of “125 years of Middletown memories” during its 125th Annual Reunion scheduled for Saturday, August 12 at the Middletown Community Center.
The annual event schedule released starts with the Flower Show as the entry of flowers go from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Registrations start at 10:30 a.m. at the school for the 11 a.m. parade.
A Kid’s Parade will meet at Caldwell and Main Streets by 10:45 a.m.
Special games and prizes for kids begin at 1 p.m.
A Washer Tournament also starts at 1 p.m. with a 12:30 p.m. registration.
The Wellsville-Middletown FFA is sponsoring a Greased Pig Contest at 2 p.m. that will be followed by the egg toss, hula hoop contest, and other games.
Registration is at 2:30 p.m. for the 3 p.m. Baby Show.
A Kid’s Pedal Pull follows at 3 p.m.
Participants 16 and older will do battle in a Cross Cut Saw Contest at 4 p.m.
The egg drop is at 5 p.m. followed by the 6 p.m. outhouse races. A bale throw will also be held after the races.
Music is being provided by Colton James from 8-11 p.m. A volleyball event, chicken poop raffle, 50/50 raffle, cake walk, bounce house, rubber chicken contest, and more will also help those attending to make memories. The food stand will feature fish squares, hamburgers, hot dogs, pork steaks, and ice cold cans of beer.
Attendance prizes will be presented throughout the day but winners must be present to win.
