Michael “Bubba” Steele

Michael “Bubba” Steele, age 15, of Frankford, passed away Monday July 1, 2013 as a result of a farm related accident near Center.
Funeral services were held on Saturday July 6, at 10 a.m. at the Adiel Baptist Church near Frankford with Rev. Bill Dexheimer officiating.  Burial will be in the Brice Cemetery near Center.  Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Michael was born on March 26, 1998 in Mexico, the son of Billy Joe Adair and Dena Michelle Cragen Steele.
Surviving are his mother Dena Steele of Frankford, father Bill Steele of Mexico, sister Nicole Steele of Frankford, Michael’s girlfriend Kenady Johnson of Perry; grandparents Dale and Donna Cragen of Frankford, Elizabeth Ebers of Mexico, great grandmother Georgia Belshe of Perry and aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by great grandparents Don Belshe, J.W. and Martha Lee Cragen and Frank and Martha Edgerton.
Michael lived in the Frankford area all of his life and currently a sophomore at Bowling Green High School where he was active in FFA.  He enjoyed farm work of all kinds cutting wood, gardening, raising and selling pigs, bucking hay bales and working on trucks.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding ATV’s.  Michael was also involved in the Libery Wide Awake 4-H Club and very active in shooting sports in both FFA and 4-H. Michael didn’t know a stranger because he was friends with everyone.  He was saved and baptized and a member of Adiel Baptist Church in which he was privileged to help build.
Pallbearers were Bobby Burns, Joe Burns, Zeb Finley, Austin Raddatz, Matt McGlasson and Jacob Calvin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Nicole Steele, Alyssa Craiger, Kenady Johnson, Logan Boyd, Brett Hubert, Jessica McMillen, Zach McBride, Seth Bruenger, Tucker Bruenger and Sophomore Class. Memorials may be made to B.G.H.S. FFA Trap Team, Ralls Co, 4-H Shooting Sports, Adiel Baptist Church or the Michael Steele Memorial Scholarship Fund.
