During the early morning hours of April 25, 2014, the East Central Drug Task Force assisted by the Mexico Department of Public Safety, the Audrain County Sheriff‘s Office, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol served a search warrant at the 600 Block of East Holt Street, Mexico, Mo. As a result of the search warrant officers arrested one suspect for possession of heroin, manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of a child. In addition officers seized heroin, marijuana plants, prescription medications and drug paraphernalia.
Sherren Denise Davis, age 50, of Mexico. Davis remains in jail without bond.
The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Fayette, High Hill, Mexico, Montgomery City, New Florence, Vandalia, and Warrenton, the counties of Audrain, Cooper, Howard, Montgomery, and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
