Mark A. Feldmann, 54, of Monroe City, formerly of Hampshire, Ill., died at 7:21 p.m. Sunday March 1, 2015 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1961 in Elgin, Ill. to William H. and Carolina J. Suhr Feldmann.
Mark had been employed at Monroe City Sheltered Workshop since Sept. 2, 1980.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Monroe City and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
Mark is survived by his mother, Carolina Feldmann of Bowen, Ill., four sisters, Sharon (Richard) Aubuchon of Morton, Ill., Shirley (Ronald) Holle of Tucson, Ariz., Darlene (Thomas) Katus of Peoria, Ill., and Patricia (William) Sawyers of Longmont, Colo., two brothers, Ronald (Dorothy) Feldmann of DeKalb, Ill. and Thomas (Vicki) Feldmann of Bowen, Ill., and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Feldmann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bowen, Ill., by Rev. Kenneth Schamber. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of services Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Special Olympics of Illinois, or Monroe City Sheltered Workshop.
