Marian Clark Bankhead

Mrs. Marian Clark Bankhead, 86, went to Heaven Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Select Specialty Hospital in St. Charles. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, at the Clarksville Christian Church in Clarksville. The Rev. Al Boatman officiated. Visitation were held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 3, at the Clarksville Christian Church. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville.
She was born September 2, 1928 in Clarksville, the daughter of Jesse Omohundro, Sr. and Margaret Leigh Clark Omohundro.
She is survived by her loving family. A son, Mike Bankhead (Janet) of Clarksville, Two daughters; Laney Jeans (Frank) of Lyon,  and Mary Leigh Burns (Doug) of Oak Grove,  Grandchildren; Shelley Fitchett (Chris) of Clarksville, Reid Bankhead and close friend, Aubrey of Clarksville, Matt Jeans (Michele) of Clayton, Carey Jeans of Lyon, Jessica Burns of Kansas City, Mo., Jeff Burns (Ashley) of Blue Springs, Mo., Great- Grandchildren; Cameron, Errett, Gabriel and Beau Fitchett, Michael and Ava Bankhead, Madeline (Luke) Jeans and Jonah Burns. Loving sister; Ruby Garman of Louisiana,  Loving brother, Frank Omohundro (Marilyn) many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Marian graduated from the Clarksville High School and later attended and graduated from the Brown Business College in St. Louis.
She had been employed by Dr. Edward K. Jackson at the Clarksville Medical Clinic for a number of years. She was later employed by the Division of Family Services in Ralls County until she transferred to the Division of Family Services in Pike County where she worked until her retirement in 1993.
Marian was a long time member of the Clarksville Christian Church.
She enjoyed her family and playing Bridge with her friends. Most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are; Robert Omohundro, Jeff Burns, Doug Burns, Reid Bankhead, Rex Hipes and Matt Jeans.
Memorials may be given to the Clarksville Christian Church Memorial Fund in care of Collier Funeral Homes, Inc., 117 Barnard Dr., Louisiana, Mo.
