Margie Wright passed away peacefully, April 28, 2015. She was 93. She resided in the Golden Living Center Westwood in Clinton, Missouri for the last years of her life.
To be with Margie was to be laughing. Her defining gifts were her wit, her enthusiasm for life, her love of family and friends, and her beautiful singing voice.
Margie’s happiest times were spent at her home at The Lake of the Ozarks entertaining friends, neighbors, and family. She was devoted to her late husband Cleve. At the lake, Margie ran the show while Cleve puttered away his weekends. They especially loved having all the family come for the holidays there. These include daughters; Lynn Page, son-in-law Al; and Kathie Cronan, son-in-law Mike; grandchildren, Monica McLaughlin, husband Matt and their daughter Abigail; granddaughter Carrie Cronan; grandsons August Huber, Michael Huber, and Kyle Cronan.
Professionally, Margie was a nurse. While living in Clinton, she taught the VICA program at the high school.
Many of her nurses and aids at Golden Living Center Westwood were her students. The family offers special thanks to the staff at Golden Valley, and to long time care giver and friend Cindy Dodd. Services will be at The First Presbyterian Church in Clinton on August 8, 2015 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, and may be left in care of the funeral home.Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
