Friends and family gathered on September 17 at Mark Twain Lake, Ray Behrens picnic area to celebrate Claudine Lybarger’s upcoming October birthday.
Son Travis Lybarger tended the barbecue grill while grandson Jaron Freie deep fried fish that he caught fresh with the trot lines of his late grandpa Tom Lybarger.
It was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect, and many memories of camping and fishing were shared.
Special guests included Laddonia Christian Church Pastor Dale and his wife Joy Roberts, of Moberly.
Traveling the farthest to attend was son Dwayne Lybarger, from Melvin, Ill.
Also attending from Illinois was Ken Meyer, from Macomb.
Others in attendance included Barbara Smith Darnell; Phyllis Noel; Susie Leverett; Jaron, Liz, and Baby Bennet Freie; Roy and Tami Grawe; Amanda Grawe; Travis, Cheryl, and Kade Lybarger; Dwight and Sue Kuda; Kenny and Dawn Glover; Paula Sites; Adam, Jill, and Connor Lybarger; Tom and Robyn Maggard; Chad, Danielle, Devon, and Darcci Freie; Megan and Andrew Bertels; Clara Shaver; Jeannie Smith; Bryan, Jeni, and Isabella James; Abby Gardner and son Wyatt Lybarger; Donna Bartlow; Anita Kuntz; and Dakota Kuntz.
All of the children except Doug Lybarger were there and he had to work.
But, we met him on the road coming to it as we were leaving.
We thank God for all the memories, the great weather, and great time had by all.
