Throughout April, the art gallery at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. was filled with the best art work of the school’s graduating seniors, as it is every year at this time.
Local students with art on display included:
• Teale Branstetter, of Vandalia, was one of 16 seniors exhibiting work in the show.
• Rachael Kohl, of Vandalia, was one of 16 seniors exhibiting work in the show.
The theme for this year’s show was “Spectrum,” representing all the different kinds of media used to produce the work in the exhibit, including graphic design, drawings, paintings, ceramic pieces, sculptures and much more.
Seniors are given an opportunity at the end of the spring semester every year to exhibit their own artwork.
Some students show pieces they create specifically for the show, while some present works they have made throughout their four years of classes, along with a final senior piece.
