Local bowlers shine at State Championships

Several bowlers from Vandalia’s Spare Time Bowl and Grill bowlers excelled in the Missouri State Youth Championships.
The results include:
Team: Spare Time No. 2 girls Division II (7th out of 32 teams); Spare Time No. 1 boys Division III (24th out of 50 teams).
Doubles: Regina Clausen/Cynthia Hall took third in Division 1; Joe Cheney and Laura Hall tied for sixth; Seth Morris and Hunter Scrogin took 14th out of 92 teams in Division III; Zach Flowers and Jayda Borgmeyer took 13th place out of 107 teams.
Singles: Hunter Scrogin tied for third in Division I; Cynthia Hall took 19th out of 99; Joe Cheney and Gina Clausen tied for 16th in Division II; Laura Hall tied for 64th out of 111; Seth Morris tied for 78th out of 182; Jayda Borgmeyer tied for 132nd out of 223; Zach Flowers tied for 18th out of 180.
All-Events: Hunter Scrogin took 7th; Cynthia Hall took 13th out of 79 bowlers; Gina Clausen placed fourth in Division II; Joe Cheney finished sixth; Laura Hall took 42nd out of 99 bowlers; Seth Morris took 130th out of 164 bowlers in Division III; Jayda Borgmeyer was 86th out of 208 bowlers in Division IV; Zach Flowers was 14th out of 170 bowlers in Division 5.
