Little Indians football teams enjoying early season success

Recently, the Van-FaR6 Little Indians’ 3rd/4th grade football team lost South Shelby 26-0. The team did an amazing job on defense but the offense couldn’t get the ball through the Cardinals’ defensive line.
Evan Utterback (#67), Jackson Fischer (#70), and Landon Flowers (#54) all made several awesome tackles to make it harder for the Cardinals to score a touchdown.
Easton Sharp (#68), Dalton Hays (#12), and Reece Culwell (#3) all did a great job on carrying the ball to gain yards to try and attempt to score a touchdown. The Little Indians tried their best, stayed focused, determined in playing their game against the South Shelby Cardinals.
The Van-FaR6 5th/6th Little Indians played the South Shelby Cardinals at home. The field conditions from all the rain made it rather challenging for both games.
Eli Johnson (#8) scored the first and only touchdown for the Van-FaR6 Little Indians within the first two minutes of the game.
There were some amazing tackles by the defense and here is a list of the players that made tackles/sacks: Brant Cope (#55), Brandon Eoff (#10), Eli Johnson (#8), Nikos Connaway (#1), Gage Gibson (#5), Pacey Cope (#7), Morgan Regot (#11), Brayden Lay (#13), Blake Foster (#2), and Zachary Couch (#68).
The Van-FaR6 Little Indians were able to score a touchdown, but they did great carrying the football and recovering fumbles. Gage Gibson (#5), Eli Johnson (#8), Nikos Connaway (#1), Trevor Miller (#66), and Brandon Eoff (#10) all did great on carrying the ball to gain yards to try and score. South Shelby won the game, 16-6.
Monroe City game
The 3/4th grade Van-FaR6 Little Indians kicked off their season, which they started Saturday, August 27 at Monroe City. The 3/4th grade Little Indians took a loss against the host Panthers.
The Van-FaR6 Little Indians played Saturday, September 3 at home against Highland. The 3/4th grade played an amazing game. They managed to stay focused and determined and only allowed the Cougars to score one touchdown throughout the entire game. The ending score was 7-0 with the Cougars winning.
The 5th/6th grade Van-FaR6 Little Indians kicked off the season on August 27 against Monroe City. They played a good game and ended up taking a loss against the host Panthers. They played Saturday, September 3 at home against the Highland Cougars.
The Little Indians won 12-0. Nikos Connaway made the first touchdown in the first quarter. Brandon Eoff made a 52-yard run for the second touchdown in the 4th quarter. There were so many amazing interceptions, tackles, sacks, and plays for many of the players.
