Library set for program

Posted on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:31 pm

One great way to keep your children reading this summer is to have them join the “On Your Mark, Get Set…Read!” Summer Reading Program at the Vandalia Library.
Registration started June 1 and is for children who will be in Kindergarten this fall up to age 12. To be eligible to be in the final drawing, children will need to read at least four books and attend at least two programs. They will also earn a Dairy Queen coupon, Pizza Hut coupon, a book, a book bag, and other prizes.
We will often have a weekly drawing with prizes. All ages can attend the program, but only K-12 years of age can sign up for the drawings.
We have some great programs planned for this year and we encourage children to come be a part of our program.
If you have any questions, please call the library at 594-6600.
