LEILANI (KIM) KIMBERLY HODDE

Services for Leilani (Kim) Kimberly Hodde, 39, of Vandalia, were held at 7 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Vandalia First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Vandalia, with the Reverend Bob Balwanz officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
Visitation was held on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hodde passed away at 4 p.m. April 9, 2015 at Tri County Care Center in Vandalia.
She was born May 14, 1975 in Mexico, the daughter of Richard and Margaret Jean Murphey Lewis.
She was married to Jeremiah (Jeremy) Hodde on October 5, 2002 in Vandalia and he survives.
Other survivors include her father Richard Lewis, of Hannibal; one son, Joshua Hodde, of Vandalia; two daughters, Haven and Sophie Atkinson, both of Vandalia; two brothers, Billy Schaedel, of Vandalia, and Bobby Schaedel, of Moberly; eight sisters-Mary Schaedel, of Laddonia; Samantha Lewis, of Hannibal; Darlene Bebout, of Ranger, Ga.; Denise Lewis-Zumpano, Dawn Millsaps, and Deborah Lewis, all of Winston Salem, N.C.; Delores Quillen, of Leesburg, Ind.; and Diane Lewis of Resaca, Ga.; one grandchild, Liam Atkinson, of Vandalia; and many nieces an nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Yvette Fragassi.
Mrs. Hodde was a lifetime area resident who worked as a teacher’s aide at Van-Far Elementary School for many years. She supported the Van-Far School system in many ways including attending and keeping score at many athletic events.
She also kept score for the Vandalia Youth Ball Association.
She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, the Dianthus Club, and the East End Miracle Walkers Relay for Life Team.
She enjoyed photography and spending time with her family.
