Vandalia’s Arayanna Lasley took home honors when she was crowned the 2015 Miss Missouri Jr. Teen on March 7 at the University Plaza Hotel, in Springfield, Missouri.
Pageant contestants from all over the state came to compete in the Missouri U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant to showcase their talents and achievements while supporting S.L.I.C.C.
The USA Ambassador Pageant was founded in September of 2010 to celebrate the individuality and achievements in the world of pageantry.
We are a charity-driven pageant. On the state level a portion of the delegates sponsor fee is donated to a randomly selected charity personally chosen by one of the delegates.
At the national level we have partnered with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization of Tampa Bay by donating funds raised from both our live charity auction and golf outing.
Lasley, 13, will travel to Tampa, Florida in July to compete in the U.S.A Ambassador National Pageant for the title of Miss U.S.A., Ambassador junior Teen. Anyone wishing to sponsor Arayanna on her journey to the National Title or purchase an advertisement for the National Program Book should contact the state director at 636-584-5134 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
She held a fundraiser at Pizza Hut in Vandalia on Monday, April 13 from 5-8 p.m. to help her raise the fees required to compete in the National Pageant.
To sponsor Lasley, those interested are asked to contact her on Facebook, email Tiffany_lasley@yahoo.com, or call 573-822-4039.
