The Community R-VI Lady Trojans Junior High basketball team continued to have success on the court last week after outscoring their three opponents 116-58.
The Lady Trojans jumped out to an early 15-2 first quarter lead on the Lady Tigers and went ahead 27-3 at halftime.
Community R-VI held off a second half charge before cruising on to a 42-23 victory.
Dalaney Bowers scored a team-high 16 points. Maddee Gastler added 10 points, Sadie Hoyt had eight points, while both Taren Clark and Shelby Craft scored four points.
The Lady Trojans wasted little time attacking their rival, Wellsville-Middletown, on November 4. Community R-VI led 16-1 at the end of the first quarter before taking a 26-8 lead into halftime.
The Lady Trojans cruised from there to a 37-21 victory.
Bowers scored 22 points, Gastler had six points, Clark and Craft both added four points, while Hoyt had three points.
The Lady Trojans had a game on their hands early against Silex as they had just a six point lead at the end of the first quarter.
Community R-VI led 17-5 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Owls 20-8 in the second half for a 37-14 win.
Bowers led the team with 18 points. Gastler scored 10 points, Hoyt had six points, and Clark added three points.
