Coming off their North Shelby Tournament championship, the Van-Far Lady Indians softball team won two of three games played last week.
They started the week with a 17-hit, dominating performance against Louisiana as the Lady Indians won the home contest, 16-0.
Van-Far scored five runs in the first inning and added an eight-run fourth to seal the big victory.
Alivia Graddy led the team with three hits, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
Jayle Jennings added a home run, two RBIs, and three runs scored; Jordan Garner had three hits, three runs scored, and two RBIs; both Makayla McAfee and Mallory Williams had two RBIs and two runs scored; Devyn Keller had two runs scored and one RBI; and both Haley Baskett and Aubrey Bunge had one run scored and one RBI.
