The leading scorer was Haven Atkinson with nine points and three rebounds. Renee Nelson scored four points and six rebounds. Ciara Craven scored three points and three rebounds, Annaliese Hubert scored two points and two rebounds, Chevi Windland scored two points, and Brooke Johnson scored two points and two rebounds. “As a team we looked solid the first quarter. We came out and played tough defense, made smart passes, and got good looks at the basket. As the game went on we started to get anxious and didn’t handle the ball very well. We turned the ball over too many times and didn’t get as many rebounds as we should have. Even though we lost, coach Kylie Epperson and I were proud of the improvements the girls have made so far. We are really looking forward to the rest of the season,” said head coach, Kelly Orf.
