Lady Indians crush Wright City

On Senior Night, the Van-Far Lady Indians outscored Wright City 21-6 in the second quarter to pull away for a 67-43 victory.
“It was a wonderful way to celebrate our seniors’ last home game,” said Van-Far head coach Kelly Orf.
Senior Alexis DeTienne was phenomenal with 17 points, two rebounds, one steal, and one assist. Senior Jayda Borgmeyer tallied 13 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and one steal.
Reaghan Case added 11 points, four steals, three assists, and two rebounds; Jayle Jennings had a double-double of 10 points, 11 rebounds, one steal, and one assist; Morgan McDowell had eight points and three rebounds; Jordan Garner had six points, three rebounds, one steal, and one assist; Gina Clausen had two points, three rebounds, and one steal; Katie Elzea had five rebounds; and Gina Clausen had two points, three rebounds, and one steal.
Against Clopton, the Lady Indians hung tough early before being outscored 24-5 in the second quarter of a 46-15 loss. Jennings had six points, 12 rebounds, one steal, and one assist while Case added three points and two rebounds. Jennings had six points, 12 rebounds, one steal, and one assist; Clausen had two points and one rebound; Garner had three points, four rebounds, and two steals; Borgmeyer had nine rebounds and three assists;  DeTienne had two steals and two assists; Elzea had three rebounds; and McDowell added one rebound.
