The Laddonia Board of Aldermen met October 9 in the City Hall.
The meeting was called to order at 6 p.m. by Alderman Jack Folta.
Members present were Aldermen Jack Folta, Ono Monachino, Monte Hanson, and Jolene Matich. Member absent was Mayor Josh Deimeke.
Others present were Bob Ellis, City Treasurer; Tom Ellis, City Attorney; and Leanna Puls.
The treasurer’s and collector’s reports, minutes, and bills/warrants for September were presented and accepted.
The board voted to block off streets for the Halloween Festival Parade from Goodwin’s Groceries to the ballpark.
The board voted to employ Jackson from the University of Missouri, Columbia for website design. Payment will be $20 per hour with a 50-hour cap.
The board voted to have easement acquisition done not to exceed $5,711.
The board voted to move on contract to have Klinger and Associates survey the water tower project.
The board voted to approve Shawn Craft for a building permit.
The board voted to move into closed session and entered into Closed Session at 8:25 p.m. and adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
