Multiple radio station insider websites reported news regarding the former KKAC radio station in Vandalia. According to multiple reports, Twenty-One Sound Communications owner and President Randy Wachter defaulted on Twenty-One’s loans.
Off-air stations KKAC, KQQX (Hermann), KXQX (Elsberry), KQXQ (CubaZ), and KIXK (Wheatland) have now been appointed to a new receiver by a circuit court judge in Franklin County.
All five stations will be overseen by Dennis Wallace, a broadcast engineer and owner of Mid-Missouri Media. Wallace’s group reportedly owns three other Missouri stations.
