Kenneth J. “Kenny” Fennewald, 52, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Audrain Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Greg Oligschlaeger officiating, assisted by Deacon Ron Deimeke.
Music was provided by Katy Merz. Pallbearers were Clarence Deimeke, Charlie Deimeke, Don Schwartze, Mike Becker, John Becker, and Jeff Fennewald. Burial took place at the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Kenneth was born July 3, 1962 in Mexico, the son of Austin P. “Bud” and Therese (Becker) Fennewald.
Kenny attended St. Joseph School and Community R-VI High School, graduating in 1980. He was a farmer, which he enjoyed very much.
Mr. Fennewald was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and had served on the Martinsburg Elevator Board. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors include his mother, Therese Fennewald of Martinsburg; one sister, Kathy (Bill) Angel of Mayview, Missouri; two nephews, Jeffery and Greg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Austin “Bud” Fennewald.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Cemetery or to the donor’s choice. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, Mo. 65265. Condolences at
