Joseph P. Baker, age 74, of Graham, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at a nursing home in Mound City, Mo.
Joe was born on November 20, 1940 in Lincoln County, Missouri to Walter J. Baker and Dora E. (Trower) Baker. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his wife Shirley and step-daughter Debbie Casteel.
Joe lived in the area since the early 1980s and he spent his younger years in the Vandalia, Mo. area.
He was an over-the-road trucker and later retired from St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, in the environmental services department. Joe was of the Christian faith.
He married his first wife, Pamela Hartung, of Vandalia, Mo. He later married Shirley Jean Baker, of Maryville, Mo. and she passed away in 2005.
Survivors include his step-children Rick (Christa) Baker, of Abilene, Kan.; Todd (Tina) Baker, of Maryville, Mo.; Darla (Gary) Brown, of Lyndon, Kan.; brother Kinnaird (Twila) Baker, of Kansas City, Mo.; sister Nadine Rees, of Vandalia, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, and step-grand- and great-grandchildren.
