When Jensen Auto Body suffered from a fire two Sundays ago, Scott and Sara Jensen were left with picking up the pieces of Scott’s busines just off Highway 54 in Vandalia.
While it has been a difficult time for the couple, both are grateful for the support they have been receiving.
“Words cannot even begin to express how thankful we are for everyone who has helped us since the fire,” Sara Jensen told The Vandalia Leader. “First, we want to thank the Vandalia and Farber Fire Department for working so hard to get the fire out. We would also like to thank the Van-Far Ambulance EMTs, the Vandalia Police Department, and the City for being there Sunday to help. Also, thank you to Great Plains for providing food for all that were working the fire. Since the fire, we have had so much support from the community. There are so many people that have prayed for us, called, texted, gave of their time to help get the shop ready at our house, and gave money and tools. We thank you all so much. Also, thank you to Car Quest and O’Reilly for all that you have done for us. We are so blessed to live in such an amazing community with so many amazing people and we are so very grateful.”
