James “Jimmy” Graham, age 73, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Moore-Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green. Memorial services were held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Timothy Graham officiating. Visitation was held Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Jimmy was born August 12, 1941 in Wentzville, the son of Robert M. and Kathleen E. Evelsizer Graham. Survivors include sons Michael Scott Graham of Atlanta, Georgia, Randall Lee Graham (Sherri) of Kelley, Iowa, Robert Leroy Graham (Michelle) of Ames, Iowa; step-son Daniel Lynn Taylor Jr. (Katie) of Eolia; grandchildren Brittany L. Tapp, Brett J. Graham and Jessica Graham; great grandchildren Jocilyn R. Tapp and Ryker Lee Tapp; step granddaughter Deanna Lynn Taylor; brother Clifton Leroy Graham; sister Mary Lorraine Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Graham.
Jimmy lived in Bowling Green most of his life and retired from the Missouri State Highway Department. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Bowling Green Fire Department. He was a Christian and practiced his faith in the Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time at Bennett Springs.
