Jace Gay, age 18, of Farber, won his first career modified race this past weekend at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly. Gay won the 18-lap race, which was the first race of the 2017 season that ends in late Fall.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Gay said.
“I had a lot of hard work put into this. It’s good to see that paid off.”
His racing team in the pits includes his parents Jeff and Brandie Gay, David Ball, and Derek Kuda. He also has numerous supporters cheering him on. Kuda’s Auto Repair is his main sponsor.
Jace Gay has been racing now for 14 years.
