Issues discussed in Laddonia

The meeting of the Laddonia Board of Aldermen was called to order for regular open session in the City Building by Mayor Josh Deimeke at 6 p.m., on Thursday, December 10.
Members present were Mayor Josh Deimeke, City Treasurer Nick Parrish, City Attorney Tom Ellis, Aldermen Jolene Matich, Jack Folta, Monte Hanson, and Eric Craft.        Patron Comments
• Chestnut and Third Street sidewalk needs to be replaced
• Ono Monachino asked if the board had pushed Sabrina to file an ex parte against him. The board had no part stated by alderman. Monachino informed the board that he had done nothing wrong. Monachino was stating he could file for slander, also asked to sign paper for slander.
The November treasurer’s and collector’s reports were accepted as were the minutes from the November meeting. Also approved was the list of bills and warrants.
Business
A motion was made, seconded, and passed to pay Klingner and Associates.
A motion was made, seconded, and passed to pay Sullivan Publications/General Code for the ordinance book.
A motion was made, seconded, and passed to purchase new chairs for meetings in the new building, that motion being for the purchase of eight nice chairs for $80 each, with a total limit of $1,000.
The board entered into closed session 7:29 p.m., returned to open session at 8:14 p.m., and was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. by Mayor Josh Deimeke.
