Van-Far’s golf team won the Quad Meet held last week at the Vandalia Country Club by 19 strokes over rival Bowling Green.
The Indians shot a 180 with the Bobcats in second (199), Elsberry was third (203), and Clopton took fourth (221).
Van-Far’s Jayson Orr and Rylee Hanson tied Bowling Green’s Brayden Buffington with a first place score of 42.
Zane Allen finished third overall after shooting a 47.
“Everyone is driving the ball well and continuing to work from tee to green,” said Van-Far head coach Melissa Orr.
“Our focus will continue to be on our short game and lowering the number of putts we have as a team each round. We start 18-hole play next week and are looking for a strong showing at the Palmyra Invitational.”
