Randolph Charles Cheney

Randolph “Randy” Charles Cheney, 65, of Farber, Mo., died at 4 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, Mo.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Farber Cemetery. Pastor Glenn Foreman officiated.
The family is being served by the Waters Funeral Home of Vandalia.
Randy was born on April 9, 1957, in Mexico, Mo., the son of Floyd Richard and Ethel Lee (Kuda) Cheney Sr.
Survivors include a brother, Wayne Cheney of rural Vandalia, Mo.; sisters, Altha Gillenwater of Farber, Mo., and Carolyn Ford (Jimmie) of Vandalia, Mo.; half-sister, Wanda Winders of Vandalia, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In an addition to his parents, a brother, Floyd Richard Cheney Jr.; sister, Ruthie Clausen; half-sister, Myrna Woolfolk; brothers-in-law, Jim Clausen and Clinton Winders; sister-in-law, Deborah Sue Cheney and nephews, James Russell Cheney and Jonathan Andrew Gillenwater, all died earlier.
Professionally, Randy worked as a mechanic until his health forced him to retire.
Randy enjoyed working on his John Deere Tractor, fishing, collecting knifes and shooting sports. Tinkering with anything with a motor and woodworking were also hobbies of Randy’s. His biggest love was his family, he cherished the time spent with them especially with his nieces and nephews.
Cheney was a member of the Farber Baptist Church.
