Lynn Marie McCurdy, 67, of Monroe City, Mo., died, Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022.
Lynn was born Oct. 6, 1955, in Vandalia, Mo., the daughter of Jack Osborn and Alice Virginia Ruth (Ames) Heaston.
Lynn attended Van Far High School, Vandalia, Mo. She was a member of the Monroe City First Baptist Church, Monroe City, Mo. She worked many years as a pharmacy tech for Gateway Pharmacy, Monroe City, Mo.
Lynn was born the fourth daughter of Jack and Alice Heaston. She married the love of her life, Raymond McCurdy, Oct. 18, 1970, he survives. They spent 52 years being the very best friends and building a wonderful life together. Lynn dearly loved her two daughters and was overjoyed to have been blessed with seven grandchildren.
She is also survived by two daughters, Amy Becker and husband, Seth; Katie Ingram and husband, Derek; grandchildren, Ceira House and husband, Ralph, Cole Kleindienst and Skylie Baker, Aurora Ingram, Zane Ingram, Keaton Becker, Autumn Ingram and Korbin Becker. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy Lybarger, Marsha Jeffries, Beverly Stacy, Crystal McCurdy and husband, Bobby, Jack Heaston Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Lynn will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Her parents died earlier.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at the Monroe City First Baptist Church, Monroe City, Mo., Rev. Josh Chambers officiated. Graveside services followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Vandalia, Mo. Visitation was held Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Monroe City First Baptist Church. Memorials have been suggested to the Monroe City First Baptist Church.
