Services for JoAnna Marie Borgmeyer, 46, of Farber, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday Aug. 11, 2022, at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Vandalia with Rev. Bobby Stanford officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bienhoff Funeral Home in Vandalia.
JoAnna died at 11:40 p.m., Aug. 6, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
She was born July 10, 1976 in Mexico, the daughter of Ed and Joyce Coil Borgmeyer.
Survivors include her parents; Ed Borgmeyer of Mexico and Joyce Borgmeyer of Mexico, two daughters; Jayda Borgmeyer and Jaxdyn Hull both of Farber, her longtime companion, Derek Hull, of Farber, aunt Carol Long of Mexico, three cousins; Steven (Becky) Coil of Mexico, Michael Coil of Portage des Sioux, and Chris Long of Mexico.
Her grandparents, Bernard and Vallie Ann Coil, and Sylvester and Frances Borgmeyer, and one uncle, Billy Ed Coil, all died earlier.
JoAnna was a lifetime area resident and Christian by faith. She worked as the finance officer for the City of Vandalia. JoAnna enjoyed trips to the casino and watching Chief’s football but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family whether that was a ball game or school event she was always there to cheer on her girls.
Pallbearers will be Steven Coil, Michael Coil, LeRoy Schlueter, Aaron Baskett, Chris Long, Darin Greenplate, and Donnie Holt.
