Last week the Van-Far Indians traveled to Elsberry to face off against the Elsberry Indians. Van-Far took a tough loss against the rival Indians with a final score of 14- 3. Later in the week, the Indians took another defeat during a home game against Mark Twain. The score was 7 – 4. On Monday, the Indians battled the Wright City Wildcats, suffering another tough loss. Final score was 15 – 0.
In Track, the high school track team traveled to North Callaway to participate in the North Callaway Invitational. During the meet, Brooke-lyn Forman received third place in the 800 Meter Run. The Junior High Indians finished out their week at the Bulldog Relays in Louisiana. The following students received medals at the meet: Garrett Hopke, 1600 and 800 Meter Run; DaQuan Martin, Shot Put; for 4×100 Meter Relay: 4th Place, Ronnie Stanich, Brady Puls, Haden Lynn, and DaQuan Martin. 4×400 Meter Relay: 4th Place, Brady Puls, Ronnie Stanich, Slade Keller, and Garrett Hopke. 6th Place 200 Meter Dash, Kashton Rhodes. 6th Place 800 Meter Run, Slade Keller. 5th place 800 Meter Run: Khloe Wallace.
