Last Friday Ennis Implement hosted their annual Customer Appreciation Lunch at four of their locations including the Main Street store in Vandalia. Last November, Ennis Implement celebrated their 75th anniversary by hosting a similar customer appreciation lunch at this location. Owner Phillip Ennis said that there were special sales going on during the event.
“We also have special sales that we are offering during our Customer Appreciation Days,” said Ennis. “There was a good turnout today as usual. We host these events every year to show our appreciation to our customers. On Tuesday, we hosted in Mexico and on Wednesday we hosted in Troy. We had a really good turnout at every location,” he added.
Some of the special sales included a 10% discount on select parts, up to a $100 instant rebate on engine oil and filters, and five percent off precision farming products.
“We started serving lunch around 11 a.m. and there was a good crowd here past noon. This has been the case at each of the locations this week and we have been happy to serve our customers,” said Ennis.
According to their website, Ennis Implement began as an International Harvester dealership in 1947 and now has a fourth generation involved in their business. They serve Vandalia, Mexico, Troy and the surrounding communities as a Case IH dealer offering quality products and services for agricultural and outdoor power equipment needs. A motto of appreciation is also expressed on their website.
“The company has been blessed with good employees, good customers, and the good will of a fine agricultural community. Under such conditions, our history is off to a wonderful start and Ennis Implement looks forward to writing the next chapters with you.”
