The Community R-VI Lady Trojans fell to Cairo in the Class 2 District Championship game Friday night at Sturgeon High School. The score was 44 to 37.
The Van-Far Indians played the Clopton Hawks in the class 2 District 5 Championship game at Sturgeon High on Saturday afternoon. The tip off went to Clopton, but the Indians scored the first shot. The score was tied at 26 at half-time, and the competitive back and forth continued into the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Clopton Hawks took the lead, and won the game with a final score of 58-48.
