COVID-19 update reveals another big drop in cases

The Audrain County Health Department released its community transmission status for the first week of October.
The new numbers are very encouraging to see, the department stated. The current number of active cases as of Thursday, Oct. 6, were 19. The current active probable cases are down to 11.
Cities in Missouri listed with more than 10 cases were Mexico, with 16. The past 7-day positivity rate was 2.9%. The past 7-day new cases per 100,000 persons was 67.
The last transmission report reflected that the number of active cases were 28, probable was 29, cities with more than 10 were Mexico with 21. The previous positivity rate was 3.6% and the cases per 100,000 people was 79.
