At the time you read my editorial, it is likely that the United States of America will have elected its next president.
Regardless of who that person is, I encourage readers who have a faith in Christ to be sure to spend some time on your knees to pray for God’s hand to be upon our land and that His Will be done.
Seeking His Will can be a scary part of prayer sometimes because we don’t know exactly what that may be. What I do know is our religious freedoms are under attack and we need a divine intervention to protect them.
Please join me in taking the time to pray for our nation.
2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV “If my people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Regardless of your faith, I want to encourage all readers to seek healing and togetherness in our nation.
We have to find common ground, show compassion for each other, and love one another regardless of how passionate we feel about a political issue, religion, or any countless number of topics we discuss with one another.
It’s okay to agree to disagree and move on. At the end of the day, we can’t change anyone but ourselves.
