SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Audrain celebrated its 100th Anniversary for years of service to Audrain County during a special event on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The special event was held from 1-4 p.m. at the hospital.
“This is a momentous occasion for our community,” Donna Jacobs, president of SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Audrain said in a previous press release. “What began in 1918 as a vote to create the first county hospital in Missouri has resulted in 100 years of dedicated service to generations of families in this community. We are excited to host this centennial celebration honoring a legacy of compassionate care for Audrain County and its neighbors.”
The celebration featured historical displays, cake and refreshments, a commemorative coin giveaway, a video tribute, activities, and games with prizes. Kids of all ages were invited to participate in five different activity stations with a chance at winning prizes.
