Hilda LaBrier, age 99, of Bowling Green passed away May 20, 2015 at the Moore Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22 at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home with Rev. Dawn Marie Turner officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Hilda was born Nov. 16, 1915 in Bowling Green, the daughter of William E. and Lula Maude Ayres Peecher.
On Oct. 17, 1936 in Louisiana she married Charles LaBrier.
He preceded her in death in Sept. 1970.
Survivors include two sons Richard LaBrier (Phyllis) of Bowling Green and Jerry LaBrier (Paula) of Spring Hill, Fla.; two daughters Jean Willis of Washington and Barbara Paiyou of Bowling Green; one sister Edna Allen of Deer Trail, Colo; thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson Jeffrey Lenk; brother Hurley Peecher, and two sisters Mildred Peecher and Alta Bradbury.
Hilda lived in Bowling Green all of her life and was a member of the First Christian Church.
She was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #5553, and the OATS organization.
Serving as pallbearers were Josh Scherder, George Wong, Dylan Harrelson, Scott LaBrier, Rich LaBrier, and Eric Mitchell.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Pike County Hospice or Bowling Green First Christian Church Memorial Fund.
