Highway 54 closed on Nov. 7

Weather permitting, on Wednesday, November 7, Kansas City Southern Railway will be removing and replacing the existing railroad crossing, and working on the driving surface at the crossing on U.S. 54 at Laddonia in Audrain County, next to Casey’s.
While crews are working, US 54 will be closed to traffic on Wednesday from 8:45 a.m.-5 p.m.
Motorists must use alternate routes during this time; traffic will be detoured over Routes J, B and US 54.
US 54 will be open to traffic at the end of the workday.
This work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
Message boards with detours will be in place during the work.

Other maintenance
Business 54 – Oct. 15-19 one lane traffic 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for concrete pavement repairs on Boulevard at various locations in Mexico.
Various Routes – November 5-16 possible intermittent lane closures or slow moving vehicles blocking driving lane for surface and/or roadside maintenance operations in various locations.
