High attendance Sunday – Friendship

Posted on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 2:34 pm

On Sunday, September 28 Friendship is going “all out” for Sunday School High Attendance Day.
Come help us attain our goals of 100 in enrolment and 75 in attendance. High Attendance Sunday is an annual rally Sunday or homecoming for all members of the congregation past and present. A special treat of Krispy Kreme donuts (fruit for those with dietary issues) will be served with coffee and/or juice for all in Sunday School this Sunday morning. Sunday School begins at 9:30 am, featuring Bible study for all ages and Morning Worship which begins at 10:45 a.m. This Sunday morning our pastor, Bro. Glenn Forman will be challenging the congregation with a message from Word of God during morning worship. The Morning service will feature special music by our worship choir. Bro. Orlie Smith will bring an inspiring piano medley as the offering is being received. After the morning worship service we will be having our Annual Sunday School Picnic with roasted hot dogs and bar-b-cue burgers at Plunkett Park. Friendship will provide the sandwiches, drinks and table service. Those in attendance are encouraged to bring a covered dish.
Sunday Evening worship begins at 6 p.m. with special music provided by Isaiah Schott. Also, Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Bro Earl Traynor meets with the RA boys, assisted by Bro. Alan Larson. Mid-week prayer service for adults and Patch the Pirate Club (for children ages 4-12) will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. Bro. Ron Schott will also lead “teen time” on Wednesday at 7 p.m. “Teen time” is a ministry to teenagers that includes Bible study, games and fellowship.
