Hugh Hauser, son of David and Kathleen Hauser, of Milan, celebrated his 3rd birthday on January 21. Due to an open heart surgery his grandpa had at the time of this birthday, an Easter lunch and birthday party were celebrated on April 5.
Hugh’s grandma Frances Stuart, of Vandalia, made and designed a dueled-out Ford New Holland tractor birthday cake. Hugh blew out the birthday candles on top of his birthday cake as his parents, grandparents, and older brother looked on. He opened birthday gifts he had received from Gayle and Frances Stuart, of Vandalia; Mary Hauser, David and Kathleen Hauser, all of Milan; Chuck, Kathy, Chase, Kellyanne, and Karleigh Gunderson of Odebolt, Iowa; Carol Sue Clay, of Green Castle, Mo.; Ed, Clay, and Audrey McNish, of Green City, Mo.; and Marvin and Jean Nikolaisen, of Lake Sherwood, Mo. He and his brother Henry enjoyed searching for hidden eggs during an Easter egg hunt held at their home and playing with the birthday gifts Hugh received.
Henry Hauser celebrated his 7th birthday on November 9. A birthday lunch was held in his honor with his parents, younger brother, and grandparents.
A John Deere Industrial Loader tractor was made and decorated by his grandma Frances Stuart. Those attending, sending gifts, or calling with birthday wishes were his parents and little brother, David, Kathleen, and Hugh Hauser, all of Milan; his grandparents Gayle and Frances Stuart, of Vandalia; Mary Hauser, of Milan; Jon, Suzanne, Reece, Reagan, and Rylan Greiner, of Thornton, Colo.; Steve, Lynette, Ethan, and Clara Mullen, of Rochester, Minn; Chuck, Kathy, Chase, Kellyanne, and Karleigh Gunderson, of Odebolt, Iowa; Carol Sue Clay, of Green Castle, Mo.; Marvin and Jean Nickolaisen, of Lake Sherwood, Mo.; and neighbor friends Clay and Audrey McNish, son and daughter of Ed McNish, of Green City, Mo.
Henry celebrated his birthday with the rest of his 1st grade class on his birthday November 12.
His classmates sang “Happy Birthday” to him and shared in treats made for his class.
