Several young people and “young at heart” adults enjoyed a Harvest Party held at the New Harmony Christian Church on Saturday, October 24. For the first time that anyone could remember, the riders on the hayride needed sunscreen instead of a coat.
A wiener roast was also enjoyed by those present.
Sunday was a special day at New Harmony as four individuals entered the waters of baptism at the opening of the morning service. Brady Fisher, Myron and Erma Arttus, and Carly Ann Smith were welcomed into the fellowship of believers.
Several of their family members were present to share in this joyous occasion. The CWF group met recently and made final plans for the Lord’s Acre Sale to be held on Saturday, November 8. The meal will be served 5-7 p.m. with the auction beginning at 7 p.m.
Numerous items will be auctioned, including two quilts. Bible Study continues on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (with the exception of the first Monday of the month). We are studying the Book of Proverbs. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend any and all services at New Harmony.
