A Mass of Christian Burial for Harold William (Bill) Duenke, 56, of Laddonia was held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Greg Oligschlaeger officiating. Burial was in Laddonia Cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 also at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home of Laddonia.
Mr. Duenke passed away at 2:33 a.m., April 10, 2012 at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico.
He was born September 12, 1955 in Troy, the son of Harold S. and Eleanor Ohmes Duenke, Jr.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Harold and Mary Ann Duenke of Laddonia; three brothers and their spouses, Brian and Kelly Duenke of Foristell, Roy and Vicki Duenke of Jonesburg, and Mike and Vicki Duenke of Laddonia; three sisters and their spouses, Betty and Rick Hakenewerth of Wentzville, Janet and Steve Poindexter of Wellsville, and Dawn and Burt Miller of Montgomery City, Mo.; five stepbrothers, Willie Mueller of Warrenton; Al Mueller of St. Paul, David Mueller of Key West, Fls., Darryl Mueller and Brian Briley, both of Hawk Point; twenty nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Duenke moved to Laddonia in 1973 from Foristell.
He was an area farmer and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg.
He enjoyed tractor pulling, sports, watching Nascar, playing cards and spending time with his family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School, 403 E. Kellet St., Martinsburg, Mo. 65264.
Pallbearers were Kenny Schafer, Ronnie Harris, Ken Robnett, Jon Robnett, Glenn Roethemeyer, and Bill Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Jesse and Eric Hakenewerth,  Jeffry and Chris Poindexter, Travis and Justin Duenke, Shaun Marshall, and Dustin Dieckow.
