Hannah Luan Buchanan

Hannah Luan Buchanan, 15, of Frankford, passed away Sept. 8, 2013.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green, with Rev. Donald Clinger officiating.  Burial will be at the Fairview-Grassy Creek Cemetery in Louisiana.   Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home.
Hannah was born Oct. 1, 1997 in Hannibal, the daughter of Michael Ray and Heather Luan Howald Buchanan.  She is survived by her parents; two brothers Joshua Michael Buchanan, of Bowling Green, and Zachary Joshua Buchanan, of Frankford;  one sister Sheena Rae Grigsby, of Oklahoma City; grandparents Edith Buchanan, of Frankford, Jessie and Sandra Howald; great-grandmother Gloria Howald; aunts; uncles; cousins; and the love of her life Brendan Weber. Hannah was preceded in death by an infant brother Richard Everett Michael Buchanan; Grandfather Gerald V. Buchanan Sr.; and one Uncle John E. Buchanan.
Miss Hannah Buchanan lived in the Bowling Green and Frankford area for most of her life.  She was a sophomore at Bowling Green High School and active in FBLA.  Hannah enjoyed fishing, swimming, and her love was dance.  She loved Tap, Jazz, and Ballet. Hannah was on the K.D.etts dance line at Karen’s Dance Academy, dancing in competitions in Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis, Tenn.  Hannah chose to be an organ donor and by her gift of life she has been able to help over 200 people.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Buchanan, Scott Buchanan, Brendan Smith, Josh Buchanan, Will Grigsby, and Brendan Weber.  Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Freeman, Zachary Joshua Buchanan, David Scott, Zane Scott, David Jameson, and Eric Kaiser.
Memorials may be made to Hannah Buchanan Scholarship Fund: to help others share the love of dance.
