Hailey Hopke, of Vandalia, Mo., has signed to participate in Shotgun Sports for Hannibal-LaGrange University (HLGU).  Hopke is shown with her parents, Stacy and Jim Hopke.
Hopke participated in softball and basketball at Van-Far R-1 High School.
Hopke has trap shooting experience within the local Van-Far FFA program. Additionally, she has had academic success, being part of the National Honor Society 2014-2016, FFA Academic Award 2013-2016, and A+ 2012-2016.
Hopke attends the First Baptist Church in Vandalia and plans on majoring in Nursing at HLGU.
“I am pleased to have Hailey on the shotgun team for the 2016-2017 season. I believe that Hailey will be a great team player and will be quick to learn about the different disciplines involved in clay sports,” added Coach Nathan Hammock.
