The St. John Lutheran Women’s Guild met May 11 at the home of Dotty Cahill. President Brenda Elliott presided. Dotty led the Bible study, “Let it Go.”
Roll call was answered by seven members telling of a woman who had been very special in their lives.
Reports were given.
The recent Mother/Daughter Banquet was reported to be a success with 37 in attendance. The speaker, Bonnie Matloz, portraying Katie Luther, was enjoyed by all in attendance.
It was voted to purchase a $50 gift card from Central Bank to be used at the gathering at the District LWML Convention in Cape Girardeau.
We will discuss ideas for the annual Guild trip at the June meeting.
The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
Dotty served as hostess. Those attending were Gloria Neiderscultte, Juanita Meyers, Carol Fischer, Elsie Hand, and Regina Vogt.
