Gregory Dale Frazier, age 62, of Bowling Green passed away March 23, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at the Morning Star Church with Rev. Skip Merkel officiating.Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Morning Star Church.
Burial will be held at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery at a later date.
Gregory was born June 22, 1952 in Joplin, the son of Edward and Mary Deloris Conrow Frazier. He married Cindy Lynn Farmer May 7, 2005 in Bowling Green. She survives. Other survivors include sons Ronnie Martin and wife Amber, Seth Martin, and Hunter Northcutt, all of Bowling Green; daughter Mallory and husband Levi Dorris of Bowling Green; five grandchildren Ethan Martin, Annaliese Martin, Brady Martin, Noah Smith, and Wyatt Dorris of Bowling Green; and brother Tim Frazier of Joplin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Frazier, and brother Jeff Frazier.
Gregory moved from Joplin to Bowling Green in 1997.
He was an Army Vietnam War Veteran and was awarded a Bronze Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with “V” Device. Both these awards consisted of displaying heroic action while subjecting himself to enemy fire.
Gregory collected pocket knives, was a jokester, and liked watching the Cardinals. Above all Gregory was a very positive person and would always say “Life is Good”.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Martin, Levi Dorris, Seth Martin, Hunter Northcutt, Ethan Martin, and Jamie Martin.
