Community R-VI’s two golfers gained some valuable experience when they competed in last week’s EMO Conference golf match at Arthur Hills Golf Course.
Freshman Micah VanSkike shot a 116 and Weston Hart shot a 128.
“It was a beautiful day on the course,” said Community R-VI head coach Johnathan Guilkey as weather conditions haven’t been the best this Spring.
Neither golfer was closer than 20 strokes from an all-conference finish. Montgomery County’s Aubrey Nelson shot a 76 to win the conference title. The Wildcats also won a conference team title with a 342, beating second place Van-Far by 20 strokes.
